A.B.L.E.D — Accept By Loving Each Other's Differences. Creating a world where differences are understood, respected, celebrated, and loved.
The mission of A.B.L.E.D is to create a world where differences are understood, respected, celebrated, and loved.
We believe that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, valued, included, and capable of pursuing their dreams — regardless of disability, diagnosis, learning difference, mobility, communication style, background, or ability.
Through education, storytelling, school workshops, music, community programs, and inclusive experiences, A.B.L.E.D aims to help people move beyond labels and discover the person, strengths, talents, dreams, and possibilities behind every difference.
"To spread more love, create more understanding, remove barriers, and help everyone know that they belong."
We envision schools and communities where people don't have to hide their differences in order to fit in.
A world where a child who learns differently is encouraged.
Where a person using a wheelchair, scooter, cane, walker, or crutches is included.
Where someone who communicates differently is listened to.
Where accommodations are understood as tools for participation — not reasons to treat someone as less capable.
Where children grow up asking "How can I include you?" instead of "What's wrong with you?"
And where every person is encouraged to discover what makes them uniquely themselves.
Different doesn't mean less.
Different can be beautiful.
Love is at the heart of A.B.L.E.D. We believe meaningful inclusion begins when we care about one another. Love means looking beyond appearances, beyond labels, and choosing to see the full humanity in every person we meet.
Acceptance is not tolerance — it is a genuine embrace of who someone is. We accept people as they are, not as we wish they were. Acceptance creates the safety for people to show up fully and authentically.
Belonging is more than being present — it is feeling welcome, valued, and included. We work to create spaces where no one is an afterthought and everyone has a seat at the table.
We believe in lifting people up — giving them the tools, knowledge, and community to live fully and pursue their dreams. Empowerment means trusting people to know what they need and supporting them to get there.
Understanding begins with learning. We are committed to educating communities, schools, and families about disability, difference, and inclusion — because knowledge breaks down fear and builds bridges.
